girl blogging refers to a style of internet writing and social media posting, mostly on platforms like tumblr, pinterest, and here recently tiktok. this type of content is popular among girls who love sharing their thoughts, stories, and feelings.
girlblogging is not about having the prettiest room, the most expensive clothes, or the most perfect life. it's about noticing the little things.
i have been thinking a lot lately...
i really love the girl i am becoming!
not because i am perfect (trust me, i am not), but because i show up for myself every single day.
i wake up early, i take care of my skin, i do yoga, i romanticize my mornings, i work hard, i let myself rest, and i keep little promises to myself. and strangely enough those promises turn into confidence.
i don't want to be "that girl" because everyone else is doing it. i want to be my version of her. soft, happy, healthy, doll coded, and always growing.
people can think i am "too much" for loving myself, decorating everything in pink, having a "performative" social media presence (yes, someone told me this before... sorry that my life is how i dreamed it could be), or getting excited over vanilla perfume... but life is so much sweeter when you let yourself enjoy the little things.
this is your reminder (and mine): becoming the best version of yourself does not happen overnight. it happens when you feel confident in your own skin and ignoring others who put you down for being who you are (a doll).
continue to be you.
